What is a pay advice envelope or payslip?

A note given to an employee when they have been paid, detailing the amount of pay given and the tax and insurance deducted.

Surely this important piece of paper needs to be easy to read and understand for all parties involved but also the design of the payslip itself needs to be suitable for the company itself. No matter if you are a small, medium or large company, the effectiveness of the payslip is a vital piece of information that needs to be not only easy to understand but also to print.

Continuous pay advice envelopes have been around for 30 years and offer an efficient, cost effective and secure way of distributing the pay details to employees. These remain an ideal solution for employees being paid cash or cheque as the payment itself can be included in some types of continuous pay envelopes.

The A4 Laser pay advice envelopes has proven to become very popular due to the fact that a regular laser/inkjet printer can be used to print these payslips, as well as other office printing so eliminating the need for several different printers.

They offer efficiency and security, can be printed very quickly and posted as normal mail if required. Different sealing methods are also available (Peel n Seal, Self Seal and Pressure Seal) plus the pre-set glue around the edge of the envelope offers maximum security, as attempts at tampering are obvious.

A quick note with regards to the Pressure Seal envelopes: A folding machine is needed to seal and fold the payslips.

Both types of pay advice envelopes are compatible with the major accountancy software packages such as MYOB, Attache and Quicken and can be supplied in boxes of either 500 or 1000 payslips.  The general delivery times is around 2-4 working days.
